Sousa Concert with The New Holland Band
Tickets:$12 - $15.
- Sun, Mar 30, 4:00 pm
The New Holland Band is the second oldest municipal band in the United States. It served as a Militia Band in 1829 and during the Civil War as the 203rd Regimental Infantry Band. Significantly, the Band has sent many of its favorite sons and daughters to become soloists and members of the U.S. Air Force Band and The President’s Own, U.S. Marine Band in Washington D.C. The New Holland Band will perform their Sousa repetoire at the Colonial. Described by Dick Hoxworth of WGAL TV NEWS as “a Lancaster County Treasure,” the band has recently performed it’s unique brand of anniversary and Sousa concerts for sell-out audiences in the Fulton Opera House.
Tickets are $15 and $12 for members of the Colonial. Tickets can be purchased at the Colonial box office with cash or check or, to use a credit card, please go to Click & Pledge.
