Experience the 1950s like never before with the all new multimedia stage show celebrating the life and the music of rock-n-roll legend, Buddy Holly, and the performers that inspired him.Following up their sold-out appearance at the 2009 Blob Ball, THE RIVERS ROCKABILLY TRIO returns to the Colonial with their mission to perform the great songs that changed the world; songs like “Rock Around the Clock,” “Blue Suede Shoes,” “Maybellene,” “Heartbreak Hotel,” “Summertime Blues,” “Wake Up Little Susie,” and, of course, the songs of the great Buddy Holly.
The Rivers’ special guest, EDWARD MARRA, has the uncanny, natural ability to recreate the excitement of a live Buddy Holly concert. He is one of only a few performers authorized by Maria Elena Holly and has played with the original Crickets! You’ll be singing along to “Peggy Sue,” “That’ll Be the Day,” “Maybe Baby,” and many more!
