Robb Reiner and Steve Kudlow, of the Canadian heavy-metal band Anvil.

In the immortal words of David St. Hubbins, “tonight we’re going to rock you tonight!” Drown your sorrows about the Phillies at our It Goes to 11 Double Feature. Starting at 7:30PM we’re showing Anvil: The Story of Anvil followed by This is Spinal Tap. If you need some convincing to come see these two timeless rockumentaries, check out the glowing reviews here and here. My fav is Anthony Lane’s review of Anvil in The New Yorker.

Bright Star, Jane Campion’s film about John Keats, will start tomorrow (Friday) at 7:30PM and will be with us for one week. Starting Nov 13 we’ve got The Informant! directed by Steven Soderbergh and starring Matt Damon as the biochemist who aids the FBI in busting ADM on a massive price-fixing scheme.

Tomorrow is also First Friday Fright Night and we’re screening another one of the films that our audience voted for back in the Spring — The Convent – at 10PM.

Muppets, Music and Magic: Jim Henson’s Legacy is back on Saturday starting at 12:30 PM. We have four programs lined up for Saturday and one on Sunday at 12:15PM. Check here for all the details on this delightful family program.

This Sunday the Jimmy Stewart classics continue with Rear Window at 2PM. There is just too much great stuff to see this weekend!

Thanks for your support and we’ll see you at the theatre!
