Friday: Running Out Re-enactment Revelry

BlobFest 2008 begins! Friday night's revelry includes the Tin Foil Hat Competition, the Scream Contest, the Shorty Awards, the Running Out, an appearance by our Steve McQueen Look-Alike winner, and much, much more! Music by The Neanderthals — the band that time forgot — also featuring Eddie Angel from Los StraitJackets. Admission is free, but donations will be gratefully accepted. Doors open at 6:30pm.
Tin Foil Hat Competition

The Second Annual Tin Foil Hat Competition will take place on Friday, July 11 during the Running Out Re-enactment Revelry. Please check in at the ticket office prior to the festivities (by 7pm) to receive your number tag for the competition and your instructions for the evening. Participants will be called onto the Colonial stage to model their creations. More »
Shorty Awards

The winners of our Second Annual Backyard B Movie Blob Bonanza Amateur Film Contest will be presented with the coveted Shorty Award and the winning films will be screened.
Scream Contest

The winner of tonight's scream contest will start the Annual Fire Extinguisher Parade on Sat, Jul 12 at 12:00pm. ANyone can enter.
Running Out

The 9pm start time is approximate. Please come early to get your seat. Those seated in the balcony do not participate in the running out re-enactment. You must be seated on the first floor of the auditorium to run out.
