BlobFest Events
This year’s BlobFest, celebrating the 50th anniversary of the film’s release, is set to descend upon Phoenixville July 11 -13, 2008. For general BlobFest information, click here. BlobFest 2008 is sponsored by the Chester County Conference and Visitors Bureau.

Steve McQueen Look-Alike Contest

Do you look like Steve? If so, WE WANT YOU! The contest will take place on Sunday, June 22, 2008 after our 2pm screening of The Great Escape. The prize is $500.00 cash and an opportunity to participate in this year's BlobFest.Call the theatre at 610-917-1228 to register.

Tin Foil Hat Competition

Contestants should be at the theatre at 7pm to register. Participating hats will become part of an installation at The Phoenix Village Art Center on Friday night.
Shorty Awards

The winners of our Second Annual Backyard B Movie Blob Bonanza Amateur Film Contest will be presented with the coveted Shorty Award and the winning films will be screened.
Scream Contest

The winner of tonight's scream contest will start the Annual Fire Extinguisher Parade on Sat, Jul 12 at 12:00pm.
Running Out

The 9pm start time is approximate. Please come early to get your seat. Those seated in the balcony do not participate in the running out re-enactment. You must be seated on the first floor of the auditorium to run out.
Saturday: Street Fair & Film Screenings

The Street Fair opens at 11:30am and is FREE! Events include the Fire Extinguisher Parade and the Costume Contest, plus lots of music and vendors. Also, be sure to stop in The Phoenix Village Art Center to see the exhibit of Tin Foil hats from Friday nights contest.
Patrons wishing to visit vendors inside the theatre (including Wes Shank and the original Blob) must purchase a wristband to enter the theatre. A wristband is also required for the afternoon film screenings. Wristbands are $7 for adults, $6 for seniors, and $4 for members of the Colonial and children. Individual film tickets must be purchased for all of the evening film screenings beginning at 8pm. Tickets are $7/$6/$4. Keep scrolling for showtimes and more information.
Fire Extinguisher Parade
