Join our 2012 TEDxPhoenixville Team!
The next TEDxPhoenixville is scheduled for October 6, 2012 and we’re ready to start planning a fantastic event! The more help and engagement we have from our community, the more enriching and downright magnificent it will be. We have six teams that need filling out with volunteers who are passionate about TEDx and Phoenixville, and who are willing to commit a significant amount of time and energy to this event.

TEDxLive is an extension of the TEDx program, launched by TED in 2010. TEDxLive events are TEDx events built around the live webcast of TED Conferences. TEDxLive events enable TED enthusiasts all over the world to experience live sessions of the TED Conference; events can be simple viewing events, and may also host live speakers. TEDxPhoenixville is pleased to host a free webcast of all four available TED2012 sessions on Wed, Feb 29 from 11:30am EST thru 9pm EST. We will not have any live speakers that day, but instead plan on immersing ourselves in the fantastic day that TED has planned. No tickets are required, but seating is limited to 50. As we gear up for our third annual live TEDxPhoenixville event on October 6, 2012 we’d like to introduce you to the TED format and share some of our favorite TEDTalks with you. Join us each month for a different program of compelling and inspiring talks. Each evening’s program will consist of pre-recorded TEDTalks plus one live performance curated by a member of our TEDxPhoenixville organizing committee. The salons will take place on the third Tuesday of the month April thru August in the Colonial Theatre’s third floor screening room. Seating is limited to 50 people. Tickets are $5 per person and can be purchased in advance online. Programs will be announced before each salon.
